Jackson Winer brings loud left-handed power and two-way upside to Coastal Carolina
Winer is a physically imposing 6-3, 225-pound left-handed bat/arm with real juice: Prep Baseball Report lists a 90 mph fastball, big carry, and a 102 mph max exit velocity, while Perfect Game and transfer reporting show he was viewed as one of South Carolina’s top left-handed pitching prospects coming out of high school. His current Coastal Carolina value is as a power-first, impact-bodied player with legitimate matchup versatility; he did not pitch in 2026, but his loud tools, quick hands, and carry power make him a fit for teams prioritizing upside and run-producing punch over polish.[1][2][5]
