Lucas Rick is heating up at the perfect time for Western Michigan
In the 2026 season, Lucas Rick has surged into a key middle-order force for Western Michigan, earning MAC Player of the Week honors after an 8-for-15 stretch with 3 home runs, 9 RBIs, and a 1.267 slugging mark. He brings legit pop, size, and run-producing instincts, plus the kind of “big-moment” confidence that shows up when the Broncos need a jolt. For a team needing a rugged corner bat who can also handle outfield flexibility, Rick looks like a practical, high-upside fit.
