Connor Devine
size, feel, and a blue-collar Jackrabbit forward with real upside
Connor Devine is a 6-foot-10 forward who arrived at South Dakota State after starring at Wasilla High, where he posted 20.1 points, 14.6 rebounds, and 8.0 blocks per game as a senior in the 2011-12 season and was named Alaska’s Gatorade Player of the Year[6]. His calling card is two-way impact: rim protection, rebounding, and the kind of physical, high-motor frontcourt presence that makes coaches smile. He also brought strong academics and a reputation for production, but his SDSU college role was more limited, so the fit question is less about flash and more about whether a team wants a tough, fundamentally solid forward who can do the dirty work.[6][7]
