Versatile, defense-first forward who brings toughness and playmaking
Braxton Key is a multi-positional, high-IQ wing/forward whose value comes from defense, rebounding, and doing the little things that stabilize a lineup. At Virginia, he built a reputation for physicality, competitiveness, and switchable defense in Tony Bennett’s system, and his pro track record includes strong all-around G League production, including a 29-point, 12-rebound, 6-assist game in 2024. He’s a good fit for teams needing a mature, adaptable role player who can guard multiple spots and compete every possession rather than dominate usage.
