Hakeem Baxter is a steady, older guard who gives UAB adult supervision at the point
Hakeem Baxter is a senior 6-foot-2 guard who brings experience, ball security, and enough scoring pop to keep defenses honest; ESPN lists him at 8.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 40.7% shooting in his most recent profile, while UAB’s roster lists him as a senior out of Philadelphia. In his UAB years, he’s been valued less as a flashy stat-stuffer and more as a tough, dependable connector who can handle pressure, make simple winning plays, and bring a veteran edge. If your team needs a calm, gritty guard who fits cleanly into structure, he’s a sensible fit.
