Mac Pavese Is Clemson’s Freshman Bat Making Noise Early
Mac Pavese has already flashed impact-bat potential for Clemson in the 2026 season, earning ACC Freshman of the Week honors after a .412 week with 7 hits, 2 homers, 6 RBIs, and 5 runs scored, and she later led the Tigers in hits and RBIs for stretches of the season[1][2][3]. The left-handed 1B/OF brings a quick, aggressive swing, gap power, and enough run production to hit in the middle of a lineup, plus the kind of early-season confidence that showed up in upset wins over ranked opponents[2][3]. She also entered college with strong recruiting buzz as a D1Softball D100 Freshman to Watch, so the hype has come with receipts[4].
