Cam Sime brings strikeout upside and power stuff to UMass Lowell’s bullpen
Cam Sime is a right-handed pitcher at UMass Lowell who has shown early-college reliability and a real swing-and-miss foundation: in 2025 he logged 16.0 innings across 10 appearances with 7 strikeouts, and in 2024 he earned America East All-Rookie Team honors after a 1-1, 4.50 ERA freshman year. His value is more about projection than raw stats — he’s already handled meaningful relief work, has shown the ability to miss bats, and gives a staff a younger arm with room to grow into a higher-leverage role.
