Cam Anstey brings versatile, defense-first value to Air Force
Anstey is a junior **utility player** for Air Force who stands out more for reliability and flexibility than loud box-score fireworks; in 2024 he posted a modest offensive line at **.222/.300/.333** with 6 hits in 27 at-bats, while also handling multiple roles cleanly on defense, including **85 putouts and seven double plays**. [6][2] He’s the kind of roster fit coaches like because he offers **positional versatility**, discipline, and steady execution, with academic and military-service markers that suggest strong buy-in and maturity.
