Johnnie Thiel IV brings size, recruiting upside, and Louisiana speed to Louisiana Tech’s WR room
Thiel is a young Louisiana Tech wideout with solid prospect profile traits — listed around 6-foot to 6-foot-1 and 175-185 pounds, he arrived as a Destrehan product with a recruiting ranking in the Louisiana top tier for his class and a high-school résumé built on efficient yards-per-catch production and big-play flashes. His appeal is upside: he looks like a developmental receiver who can grow into a reliable role if his route detail, polish, and game speed translate at the college level.
