Gus Begert brings pro-style athleticism and upside to Dartmouth's outfield
Begert is a high-upside first-year outfielder for Dartmouth who arrives with a strong all-around profile: a 6'3", 195-pound frame, right-handed bat, plus run tools, and a multi-sport background that suggests athletic carryover. In high school, he earned four straight all-district baseball honors and was a two-time underclassman All-American, while also ranking in the top 6% of his class academically. Early college production has been modest, so the appeal is more projection than box-score pop right now, but his size, speed, and competitiveness make him a legitimate development candidate.
