Hyrum Hatch gives Utah State a reliable, high-IQ long snapper with proven special-teams consistency
Hatch’s value is built on dependability: in the 2025 season at Utah State, he handled long-snapping duties in all 13 games, added two tackles, and earned Academic All-Mountain West honors, while his earlier New Mexico season earned him Honorable Mention Freshman All-American recognition as a long snapper.[3][9] He’s a good fit for a team that prioritizes clean, mistake-free special teams over flash, with a strong snapper pedigree and a reputation for steady work rather than highlight-reel stats.[3][7]
