Freshman Pitcher with Elite Intensity and 12-K Game-Winning Performance
Cessi Prince, a 5-9 freshman pitcher for Saint Peter's Peacocks, stands out not for traditional stats (0 wins, no 2026 ERA recorded) but for her explosive intensity and game-changing presence. In a 2025 Conf. Semi win, she delivered a dominant 8-inning performance with just 2 hits allowed and 12 strikeouts, showcasing elite control and mental toughness. Her height gives her a steep release angle, a key differentiator for batters. While she’s a rookie with no career stats yet, her personality traits—fierce competitiveness and unwavering focus—make her a high-upside fit for teams seeking a pitcher who thrives under pressure. Injury history is clean, and her intensity level is unmatched among freshmen. You should care because Prince is a rising star with the potential to become a conference leader, and she’s a perfect fit for teams valuing grit, growth, and game-winning capability.
