Macie McLellan adds two-way depth for Nicholls with freshman versatility and classroom polish
In the 2026 season, freshman Macie McLellan appeared in seven games for Nicholls and made her first career start, bringing rare pitcher/outfield flexibility to the roster while also showing strong academic discipline as a Southland Spring Honor Roll selection with a 3.60 GPA[1][10]. She looks like a low-drama, high-utility fit: versatile, coachable, and likely valued more for matchup depth and practice intensity than headline stats right now[1][12].
