Christian Fermin is VCU’s rim-protecting, low-usage glue guy
In the 2025-26 season, Christian Fermin has been more of a defensive stabilizer than a featured scorer, but that’s the point: the 6-10 forward brings size, shot-blocking, and rebound value that can change a game without hijacking touches. VCU lists him with school-record-level defensive credentials in its bio, and his college track record shows he has consistently produced on the glass and around the rim. He profiles as the kind of veteran frontcourt piece coaches trust for toughness, interior presence, and energy—less flashy, more winning basketball.
