Skilled 7-footer, Rim Protector, and High-IQ Fit
Luke Kornet is a Vanderbilt alum whose game is built on size, touch, and smart defensive positioning rather than raw scoring volume. In the 2023-24 NBA season, he averaged 5.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.0 blocks in 15.6 minutes across 63 games, showing he can provide efficient, low-mistake minutes when called on. His differentiators are shot-blocking, passing for a big man, and disciplined team defense; the main question for any team is role fit, not talent.
