Houston RHP Cameron Edmonds is a big-framed, strike-throwing project with pedigree
Edmonds is a 6-foot-3 right-hander from Anahuac, Texas who arrived at Houston with two-way high school value, earning district honors as both a pitcher and shortstop and a Perfect Game ranking as the 67th right-handed pitcher in Texas. His appeal is the upside: a long, loose right-handed arm, a repeatable high-¾ delivery, and the kind of size scouts like to dream on. He’s still an unproven college arm — his Houston bio lists no official stats yet — so he looks more like a developmental fit than an instant-impact Saturday starter.
