Daquan Davis Brings Defense, Pace, and a Passing Pulse to Providence
In the 2025-26 season, Daquan Davis has been limited to 3 games and is averaging 0.7 points, 1.0 assists, and 0.3 steals in 9.7 minutes, with Providence noting his season ended by surgery[1][2]. What makes him interesting is the two-way guard profile: he showed better production in the 2024-25 season at Florida State (8.8 points, 2.5 assists, 1.1 steals per game), plus a reliable free-throw stroke and a knack for disrupting ball handlers, even if his jumper still needs polish[1][5].
