Rotnei Clarke’s elite shooting made him a matchup problem at Butler
In his 2012-13 Butler season, Rotnei Clarke was the Bulldogs’ leading scorer at 16.9 points per game and their top threat from deep, hitting 115 threes while also leading the team in free-throw percentage and minutes played.[1][2] His game was built on high-volume, high-efficiency shooting, but the real differentiator was his proven ability to stretch defenses immediately—he scored 20 in his Butler debut and earned All-Tournament honors at the Atlantic 10 tournament.[1] For a team needing spacing, toughness, and a veteran shot-maker, he fit the bill.
