Freshman DB Caden Ali arrives at Chattanooga with real ball-hawk juice
Caden Ali is a 2026 freshman defensive back for Chattanooga who comes in with a built-in playmaking résumé: 12 pass breakups and 6 interceptions in his career at Hewitt-Trussville, which screams range, anticipation, and hands for the ball. At 5-11 and 167 pounds, he’s more quick-twitch cover defender than thumper, and the early fit looks strongest as a developmental DB who can grow into matchup value in space. If you want a young defender with turnover instincts and upside, he’s a name worth watching.
