Denzel Gregg was a high-motor, rim-protecting force for St. Bonaventure
In the 2016-17 season, Denzel Gregg was a do-it-all senior forward for St. Bonaventure who brought toughness, vertical pop, and elite rebounding instincts, finishing with career-best marks of 12.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game while leading the A-10 in offensive rebounds. He also ranked among the league’s best shot-blockers and added a reliable mid-range and perimeter touch, making him more than just a paint bruiser. The big appeal: he played with energy, protected the rim, and consistently gave the Bonnies extra possessions — the kind of glue guy coaches love.
