Purdue’s 6-foot-11 stretch big with real upside
Raleigh Burgess is a 6-foot-11 forward for Purdue who showed efficient flashes in the 2024-25 season, averaging 1.9 points and 1.3 rebounds in 31 games while shooting 53.5% from the field and 40.0% from three before a foot injury and later redshirt year slowed his momentum. The big draw is his fit: a stretch-forward skill set, size, and shooting touch that can change Purdue’s frontcourt spacing when he’s healthy. He also earned Big Ten All-Academic recognition, which fits the “high-upside, low-drama” profile teams love.
