Landon Marchetti has been a useful left-handed arm for San José State in 2026
In the 2026 season, San José State left-hander Landon Marchetti has shown he can give the Spartans valuable innings in relief, including a 2.0-inning win over Nevada and a 4.2-inning outing against Saint Mary’s, while working with a low-arm-slot look that can make him uncomfortable to face[3][10][11][13][14]. The bigger appeal is the profile: a crafty, strikeout-capable southpaw with college experience, after posting strong high-school numbers in 2023-24 and bringing a competitor’s edge as a seasoned transfer who can stabilize a pitching staff[5][11].
