steady 3-and-D wing with veteran poise
In the 2022-23 season, Joey Baker gave Michigan reliable floor spacing and grown-man experience: 5.7 points per game, 2.2 rebounds per game, and 39.1% shooting from three across 34 games. The bigger sell is the fit—he’s a 6-foot-7 guard/wing who brings maturity, positional size, and calm shot-making rather than high-usage fireworks. He also flashed leadership value late in the season, which makes him appealing for teams that want a low-drama, rotation-ready connector who can stretch defenses and keep the offense moving.
