Citadel’s Senior Scoring Leader with Elite Versatility and High-Intensity Drive
Austin Ash, a 6-3 senior guard for the Citadel Bulldogs, is the team’s top scorer and a senior-season leader who averaged 23.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.5 steals in 2022-23, showcasing rare all-around production for a guard [1][2]. His differentiators include elite shot creation (career-high 27 points with 9/17 three-pointers in one game), defensive tenacity (2.5 steals/game), and a high-intensity, team-first personality that elevates Citadel in tight games like their 72-68 win over East Tennessee State [2][5][6]. Though his career averages dip to 7.4 PPG overall due to earlier limited roles at Iowa and varying game loads, his 2022-23 breakout proves he’s a proven scorer who can lead a team. He’s an ideal fit for teams needing a versatile, battle-tested guard with playoff-intensity grit and transfer-portal visibility as one of Citadel’s top scorers [1][7].
