Trey Hall’s Ole Miss run was all burst, then a brutal Achilles setback
In the 2024 season at Mississippi Gulf Coast, Trey Hall rushed for 1,098 yards and 13 touchdowns on 149 carries, showing the kind of downhill juice and big-play efficiency that made Ole Miss take notice. He arrived in Oxford as a JUCO transfer with legit SEC upside, but a torn Achilles in a non-team workout before spring ball wiped out his 2025 opportunity and led to a redshirt. Translation: when healthy, he brings compact size, proven production, and explosiveness; right now, his fit depends on a full recovery more than any box-score stat.
