Owen McElfatrick is Northwestern’s veteran bat and clutch-swinger with legit All-Big Ten pop
In the 2025 season, McElfatrick led Northwestern in batting average (.303), hits (59), and stolen bases (5), while also adding 16 doubles, 9 homers, and 32 RBIs; he entered 2026 as a senior and a lineup anchor with 24 career home runs, tied for sixth in program history. He stands out for hit consistency, gap power, sneaky speed, and a proven ability to heat up late in the year—plus the steadiness that comes from being a multi-year starter and recognized All-Big Ten performer. If you want an experienced INF who can hit, lift, and settle a clubhouse, he’s your guy.
