Makayla Coffield is Georgia Tech’s swing-arm spark plug in the circle
Makayla Coffield enters the 2026 season as a versatile left-handed pitcher for Georgia Tech, with a track record of missing bats and flashing real upside. In the 2024 season, she logged 13 appearances and 16 strikeouts across 23.1 innings, and Georgia Tech highlighted a February 2026 shutout start in which she delivered her first complete-game win. Her game profile suggests a pitcher who can handle pressure, change pace, and give a staff dependable depth with occasional impact-start potential.
