Resilient UC Davis Freshman OL Tristan McLoughlin: Grit Beyond the Trenches
Tristan McLoughlin, a 6'3", 275-lb freshman offensive lineman for the UC Davis Aggies, sat out the 2025 season but brings battle-tested toughness from Jesuit High School, where he played both ways amid personal adversity—supporting his little sister Julia through leukemia as a cancer survivor family.[2][5][6] His differentiator? Unyielding intensity and team-first mentality, highlighted in Hudl clips showing mauling blocks, making him a high-upside developmental prospect with championship character ideal for programs valuing resilient culture-fit linemen.[1][8]
