Emmett Jefferson gives Norfolk State a steady, high-contact outfield bat with glove-first value
In the 2026 season, Emmett Jefferson played in 37 games with 29 starts for Norfolk State, hitting .250 with 28 hits, 12 RBIs, six doubles, one triple, one home run, and five stolen bases, while posting a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage and a career-high 74 putouts[1][11]. He’s the kind of gritty, all-around college piece coaches love: reliable defensively, capable of moving the offense with extra-base pop and smart baserunning, and productive in big moments, like his 2-for-3, three-RBI day against Virginia State[1][4].
