Power Lefty With Starter Traits and Big-Moment Upside
Libbert is a physically sturdy **6-foot-1, 205-pound left-hander** whose calling card is a lively fastball that has climbed into the **mid-90s** and a quality breaking ball/changeup mix that projects well in a rotation. After missing his true freshman year because of Tommy John surgery, he showed real bounce-back traits at Ole Miss by opening his debut with **5 innings, 7 strikeouts, 1 walk** and carrying his velocity well, which points to both competitiveness and stamina. He looks like a good fit for teams that value a strike-throwing, pitchability-driven starter with more velocity and ceiling than the typical college lefty.[1][2][6][16][18]
