Bailee Slack is forcing her way into Texas State’s lineup with bat-to-ball pop and outfield value
In the 2025 season, Bailee Slack hit .300 with 27 hits, 16 runs, 2 extra-base hits, 7 RBI, and 3 stolen bases in 43 games, then carried that momentum into key 2026 lineup roles for Texas State. She’s the kind of player coaches trust: versatile enough to move around the outfield, tough enough to keep earning starts, and productive in pressure spots. A campus reporter noted she “may have earned a regular spot” after a strong weekend that included four hits, two runs, and sharp defense in right field.
