DJ Williams gives Sacred Heart a compact, downhill run threat with upside
DJ Williams is a 5-foot-10, 193-pound junior RB at Sacred Heart who logged 4 carries for 27 yards in the 2025 season, flashing a solid 6.8 yards per carry in limited work. The appeal is simple: he brings a sturdy, North Ohio-style backfield profile with proven high-school production, plus two-time all-conference recognition and Northeast Ohio second-team honors from 2025 and 2026. He looks like a useful fit for a team that wants a decisive, physical runner who can handle contact and grind out yards rather than just chase highlights.
