Lehigh’s veteran RHP Cole Leaman pairs strikeout stuff with academic-star reliability
In the 2026 season, senior right-hander Cole Leaman has been Lehigh’s dependable workhorse, after posting a team-high 4.21 ERA over 47.0 innings with 54 strikeouts, which ranked fifth in the Patriot League and came with a .232 opponent batting average[3]. He showed real upside earlier in his career too, including a 2.31 ERA and 49 strikeouts in 46.2 innings in the 2024 season[6]. Leaman is a polished, attack-minded starter with a 6-foot frame, a varied arsenal, and the kind of academic-and-competitive makeup coaches love[1][3][4].
