DBU’s lefty who’s turning starts into trust
In the 2026 season, Liam Watt has emerged as a reliable left-handed starter for Dallas Baptist, and his biggest calling card is giving the Patriots real innings in big spots rather than just flashing one eye-popping number. He’s been used in multiple starts and delivered quality outings, including a 7-inning win over Missouri State and a 6-inning, 3-strikeout outing in May 2026, showing he can settle games down and compete deep into starts. At 6-foot-1 from Ontario with a calm, strike-throwing profile, he looks like a fit for teams that value poise, durability, and a starter who won’t get rattled when the game gets noisy.
