Obi Ezeigbo brings lower-division production, wrestling toughness, and Big 12-ready motor to Oklahoma State
In the 2024 season, Obi Ezeigbo gave Oklahoma State a disruptive edge presence, finishing with 42 tackles and 3 sacks after arriving from Division II Gannon, where he posted 54 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, and 7.5 sacks in 2023. His biggest differentiators are power, bend, and a relentless, physical style that translated well enough for Mike Gundy to call him a “good buy” with traits OSU could develop. He also has wrestling background and a reputation for effort and toughness, making him a strong fit for teams that value motor, leverage, and coachability over pure blue-chip pedigree.
