efficient UC Davis guard with elite shooting pedigree and veteran savvy
Gonzalez profiles as a dependable **3-and-D style guard** whose standout trait is shooting gravity: UC Davis listed him as a fifth-year senior with 53 made threes in one season and All-Big West recognition, while earlier Saint Mary’s notes show he led the WCC in 3-point percentage at 52.6% in 2015-16. Current public stats from ESPN show modest scoring and playmaking output, so his value is less about volume and more about spacing, experience, and consistency. He also earned praise from UC Davis for focusing on teammates and strengthening the program, which suggests a low-drama, fit-first locker-room piece.[3][6][7][4]
