Depth center with limited college production but proven size
Josh Birchfield is best viewed as a reserve big man for Tulane: ESPN lists him at center with very modest college production, while Tulane’s roster bio says he previously averaged 4.7 points in 31 games at the University of Rio Grande and 10.0 points, 5.0 rebounds in high school.[1][7] The key takeaway is his value comes more from size and depth than stat-stuffing, so he fits best as a situational interior option rather than a featured piece.[2][5][7]
