Rob Rispoli is UConn’s on-base machine with All-BIG EAST upside
In the 2025 season, Rob Rispoli emerged as a first-team All-BIG EAST infielder for UConn, hitting .324 with a .473 on-base percentage, 68 runs, 70 hits, 46 walks and 30 RBIs in 57 games, and in 2026 he kept that patient, disruptive profile rolling in summer ball by leading the Cape Cod League in walks early while also earning All-Star recognition. He looks like the kind of shortstop who changes innings with discipline, speed and contact quality rather than loud tools alone, and that combo makes him a strong fit for teams that value table-setters, defensive steadiness and competitive edge.
