Power UTL with Elite Pitching Versatility for Oakland Grizzlies
Blake Sehlke is a 6'2", 233-lb junior UTL for the Oakland Golden Grizzlies who uniquely combines left-handed hitting with a multi-pitch arsenal (85-87 MPH sinker, 83-85 MPH cutter, 74-78 MPH slider) despite a 7.47 ERA in 2026. His differentiator is elite intensity and versatility: he made 10 relief appearances with a save, showing high-pressure readiness, and his physical bulk (233 lbs) gives him rare power potential at the plate. While his ERA reflects early struggles, his 1.34 WHIP and 7 strikeouts in 15.2 innings reveal underlying control. He’s a high-fit candidate for teams needing a power bat who can pitch in clutch moments, especially with his transfer portal status signaling ambition. No major injury history noted; his personality is driven and blessed, per his own X post.
