Kaleb Huffman brings real pop and veteran steadiness to Mercer’s corner bat mix
In the 2026 season, Kaleb Huffman has been used as a flexible 1B/OF senior and has already delivered impact moments, including a pinch-hit, game-tying two-run homer in Mercer’s SoCon tournament run. Mercer describes him as a disciplined, patient hitter with dangerous power, and head coach Jason Gibson praises his work ethic and day-to-day consistency. He also comes with a proven power track record from Gordon State, where he was an All-GCAA First Teamer in 2024 and later earned Sun Belt League Player of the Year honors in summer ball, making him a strong fit for teams wanting mature, left-handed thunder.
