Tony Kynard

Tony Kynard gives Bethune-Cookman a steady, low-mistake backcourt presence

Tony Kynard is a 6-foot-1 guard who already showed real rotation value for Bethune-Cookman, appearing in 32 games with 16 starts and finishing fifth on the team in scoring at 5.6 points per game while ranking sixth in the MEAC in assists per game and third in assist-to-turnover ratio. That profile points to a smart, dependable floor general rather than a pure volume scorer: he helps organize offense, protects the ball, and can fit into a team that needs poise and decision-making in the backcourt. He looks like a good fit for systems that value efficiency, discipline, and guard play without the ego tax.
