Maddux Fleck adds contact-oriented depth and veteran polish to JMU’s infield
In the 2025 season, Maddux Fleck hit .235 with a .355 OBP in 44 games for James Madison, showing patience and a useful feel for putting the ball in play rather than relying on power. A senior infielder from Omaha, he’s a switch hitter who gives the Dukes defensive versatility and experienced depth after stops at Creighton and Johnson County CC. In 2026, his role has been limited, but the profile still reads as a scrappy, adaptable table-setter type who fits teams that value baseball IQ, lineup flexibility, and steady at-bats over flash.
