Ethan Giesbrecht brings strike-throwing size and starter experience to K-State’s bullpen mix
Ethan Giesbrecht is a 6-foot-3 right-hander from Altona, Manitoba, who arrives at Kansas State after two seasons at Hutchinson CC and a 2024 line of 15-5 with a 4.09 ERA, 143 innings, 137 strikeouts, and a 1.18 WHIP. In 2024, he also led Hutchinson in wins, strikeouts, WHIP, and innings, which screams durability and trust. His appeal is simple: a sturdy frame, proven workload, and the kind of command-and-competitiveness profile coaches like when they need innings without the chaos.
