Big right arm, real strikeout track record, and a fresh Arkansas State fit
Erdmann arrives at Arkansas State as a 6'4", 220-pound junior right-hander with legitimate college experience, including 37.2 innings and 31 strikeouts in 2025 at Ohio State after 14.0 innings and 16 strikeouts in 2023 at Cincinnati. He stands out for size, mound pedigree, and the kind of multi-school resume that usually signals a pitcher who can adapt quickly. Add in a high-school perfect game in the playoffs at Walsh Jesuit, and you get a competitor with some bite. The fit looks solid if Arkansas State wants upside, innings, and a power arm with room to keep climbing.
