Gus Allred brings size, academic discipline, and left-handed bullpen depth to Northern Colorado
In the 2026 season, Gus Allred offered Northern Colorado a 6-foot-3 left-handed relief option with plus academic discipline, earning Summit League All-Academic recognition while maintaining a 3.98 GPA as a computer science major. His on-field results were uneven—31.2 innings across 18 appearances with a 2025 note of a 12.71 ERA in seven outings—but his value is in profile: a sturdy senior frame, a proven track record as a multi-year pitcher, and the kind of coachable, high-character presence that can fit a staff looking for depth and maturity.
