Madut Bol brings veteran size, efficient role play, and old-school toughness to Southern
Madut Bol is a 6-foot-9 veteran big man whose value has always been more about steadiness than flash: in his Southern career, he averaged 3.4 points and 1.9 rebounds in 117 games, with respectable shooting splits for a frontcourt role player. His differentiators are size, experience, and a feel for doing the dirty work—he’s the kind of center who can absorb physical minutes, defend without drama, and stay within the system. The bigger context: he comes from a basketball family and has long been viewed as a high-character, team-first presence.
