6-foot-7 two-way lefty Joe Dolinshek brings starter-level toughness to Alabama State
In the 2026 season, Joe Dolinshek has been a real Hornets swing piece: a 6-foot-7 LHP/1B who has started on the mound and also flashed impact at the plate, including a three-hit game with two RBI against Alabama A&M and a five-plus-inning outing against South Alabama. His current value is the rare combo of size, innings-eating length, and two-way usefulness, though the 2026 stats also show he’s been hit around at times (5.72 ERA in Alabama State’s season stat line). If a staff wants a big-bodied lefty with starter traits, lineup flexibility, and some undeniable “what if he clicks?” upside, he’s worth a hard look.
