Stow Rogers brings loud contact and arm-strength upside to Charleston
In the 2026 season, freshman Stow Rogers flashed real pop for Charleston, highlighted by a 435-foot first career homer—the longest recorded in the last two seasons for the program—and he also chipped in doubles and multi-hit damage as a C/OF. He’s a 6-foot-2, 200-pound local product from James Island Charter, which fits the profile of a hard-nosed, versatile young hitter with catcher/outfield flexibility. The early stat line shows some growing pains at the plate, but the power burst and two-way defensive versatility make him a developmental fit with clear upside.
