Ava Conti brings two-way value and steady upside for SJSU
Ava Conti is a useful **pitcher/utility** piece for San José State whose value is built on versatility and steady improvement: in 2025 she posted a career-best **4.27 ERA** and a career-high **10 strikeouts** while appearing in 15 games, and she earned **Academic All-Mountain West** honors in 2026. The case for her is less about flashy volume and more about a coachable, roster-flexible profile that can cover multiple needs; based on her SJSU bio and recruiting/testing history, she projects as a dependable depth option with room to grow rather than a finished product.[1][2][10]
