Maddox Mortensen brings size, shooting, and high-upside two-way grit to Adams State
Mortensen is a 6'6" freshman guard at Adams State who arrives with a strong scoring résumé from Doherty High School, where he averaged 17 points per game and earned first-team all-league honors in both his junior and senior seasons. Adams State coach Kenny Tripp described him as a shot-maker with great positional length who competes hard every possession, which is the kind of combo that can translate fast in Division II. If you want a wing-sized guard who can stretch the floor and still bring edge, he’s a very interesting fit.
